CHILDREN
Children's ActivitiesWhether it is Sunday School, Children’s Church, Awana, Nursery or a special event, Faith Baptist Church is committed to training children to live lives pleasing to God. Our various programs for children from birth to 5th grade have been designed to encourage each child to learn of God’s great love for them through His son, Jesus Christ.

NurseryNursery for newborns up to age 3 is provided during the Sunday school hour and Sunday Morning church as well as on Wednesday evenings. Our well-staffed nursery will take care of your little ones while you participate in church activities.

On Sunday morning, 1 and 2 year olds can find a classroom full of fun and learning taught by Rene LaTour. The children interact with each other, forming new friendships, and learn the basic Bible stories through the use of storybooks, coloring worksheets, games, songs, and videos. These children are so proud of the work they do in this class and of the things they learn. The Toddlers class continues through the church hour, so there is no need to pick the children up between Sunday School and church.

If you would like more information about our nursery, feel free to contact the church office or our nursery coordinator, Linsey Forlow. In order to provide quality care for all of our children, we ask that all regularly attending parents with children in the nursery work once a month in the nursery rotation.  Our volunteers serve faithfully in this area and we ask that you do the same.  If you have special issues that may prevent this from happening please let the nursery coordinator know. AWANA on Sunday Evenings - Starts September 9thAWANA logo

 AWANA stands for Approved Workman Are Not Ashamed, (2 Timothy 2:15). This ministry is a Bible based club for boys and girls 3 years old through the fifth grade.

  3. Registration begins August 19, 2007

It is an action packed night that provides award-based incentive for Bible memorization. Included in the AWANA time is:

  1. Book time, where the children recite to club leaders what they have memorized during the week;
  2. Council time, where the children learn to apply to their lives what they are memorizing;
