The Missions Committee recently received a note, along with a check, during the Morning Worship Service. The note read as follows:

"I was a bit surprised when I heard God tell me to put down $800 for a (Faith Promise) pledge. But, at the end of 2007, we got a surprise year-end gift from someone for $800.00! It was our first year-end gift and God said, 'Give it to Me, and trust that I'll bring in what you need.' He did! Go God!"

God is faithful!

The Missions Committee would like to thank everyone for their participation in this year's Missions Conference. To date, pledges in the amount of $36,066 have been received. If you made a pledge during our Faith Promise Giving Campaign, know that your faithfulness is appreciated. Remember, Faith Promise cards can be submitted at anytime throughout the year. Also, gifts can be designated by marking the pew offering envelopes or your check memo line "FAITH PROMISE". Since this program is called FAITH Promise, we would ask everyone to pray that God will provide the necessary funds to meet our $48,500 obligation to keep our missionaries on the field in 2008. We will see how faithful He is!
